Presenting of the Magnetic Coupling-Based Transformer-Less High Step-Up DC-DC Converter for Renewable Energy Applications

This study presents a new high step-up converter based on the voltage multiplier cell and coupled inductor for renewable energy applications such as fuel photovoltaic power systems. achieves conversion ratio using (VMC). The acts passive clamp circuit reduces maximum across switch. suggested topology has only one switch in its structure, which leads to low cost volume. other benefits of proposed structure are components count, input current ripple, stress throughout semiconductors, efficiency, zero-current switching (ZCS), zero-voltage (ZVS) diodes. Besides, due soft-switching condition diodes, reverse recovery problem can be decreased. To show effectiveness topology, operation survey, steady-state analysis, efficiency calculation provided. Additionally, comparison with similar converters illustrates superiority structure. Finally, an experimental prototype 150 W rated power, 50 kHz frequency, 24 V is implemented prove mathematical analysis DC-DC converter.
